Materials
Wendy uses different breeds of sheep wool - Merino, Blue faced Leicester , Shetland , Herdwick and others . When possible , she uses wool from rescued sheep and alpacas , washing and dyeing and preparing it for felting .
Packaging & Shipping
All art work is sent unframed. This reduces cost, the environmental footprint and allows you to pick a frame to suit your home . The art work will be dispatched within 3 days and arrive carefully packaged. Please make contact if you would like your art work framed; additional costs will apply .
Looking after your art
It is recommended that you don’t place the work behind glass so that the natural textures are more evident , although this is obviously a personal choice . If the piece is not behind glass, you may need to remove dust from the piece occasionally . This should be done by tipping the art and gently tapping the back; also by gently dusting the piece with a soft art brush or similar . Do not use a wet cloth or vacuum the piece. Display the art work away from strong direct sunlight to prevent fading.
